Founded in 2017 by Harry Whalley and Tom Northey, the Audio Research Cluster (ARC) emerged alongside the establishment of music as a dedicated subject area at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). ARC quickly solidified UCA's reputation as a hub for postgraduate research, fostering an environment where groundbreaking PhD projects flourish.

UCA Farnham is the largest campus of the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), a specialist art and design university located in the south of England. Farnham itself has a rich history in crafts and was recently awarded World Craft Town status, making it an ideal environment for pursuing creative passions. Located conveniently near the town center, the campus boasts an extensive range of specialist facilities, including studios for ceramics, metalwork, filmmaking, and animation.

Doctoral College Cantabury 
UCA Canterbury is a vibrant and creative campus located in the heart of the historic city of Canterbury and is home to the Doctoral College. The Doctoral College is the central hub for creative PhD study at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). Located close to the Canterbury campus at Rochester House, it provides a supportive and inspiring environment for doctoral researchers across various creative disciplines.
